Friday March 11 - Theme: "Encounter"
Rapperswiler Day 2016
What needs to be changed in neighbourhoods, parks and living environments so that these can become a space for public encounters? How can you satisfy the needs of different generations, culutures and user groups and what can positively influence the average lenght of stay or the intensity of use of such public places?
Once a year, established and young national and international landscape architects meet in Rapperswil for the “Rapperswil Day”. The symposium is held at the University of Applied Sciences HSR.
In addition to the symposium BURRI representatives were showcasing a few samples of our product range including the latest add-on to the Landi bench family. An original Landi bench with aluminium seat slats. This bench is the ideal choice for areas with high flood risks, places with high vandalism rates or heavy environmental impacts e.g. strong moss growth.
This year’s symposium on 11 March 2016 addressed the theme of “Encounter”. BURRI supported the event as a long-term sponsor again in 2016.
