Bellevue

The station concourse, designed by Prof. Ueli Zbinden, Architect ETH/BSA/SIA in Zurich, has attracted attention at home and abroad – from passengers and among professional circles.

This concourse convinces in form through the realization of a number of technically interesting solutions. All elements are constructed and bolted together using a modular system, and the entire system can be expanded at any time. The rear and side walls are glazed before being put into place. Prefabricated foundations including all cable feeds and anchor sleeves guarantee a short construction time, while hot dip galvanizing with an additional lacquer coat ensures optimal surface protection.
