Danish designer Jacob Johan Würtzen has not reinvented the wheel with his Cykelog, but has addressed the issue of bicycle stands for public spaces. The result is an ideal balance between user-friendliness, efficient use of space and aesthetic considerations. Without the need to lift them, two bikes with different tyre sizes can easily be pushed and leaned into position in the elegant Cykelog system (one on either side). They can be simply secured irrespective of the type of lock or their position. The double frame keeps the two bikes an adequate distance apart. The design avoids hard edges and parts that can catch and damage cables. The system also permits a variety of uses, from double stands to separate elements or groups around trees or advertising stands.
