“Elements go wild” – Building design

The design elements conceived for the new BURRI public elements AG building were nominated for the Design Prize Switzerland 2013. In collaboration with Frédéric Dedelley, designer Claudia Caviezel introduced incisive accents in the intentionally minimalistic architecture.
The new building that houses the design department, production and the new light laboratory integrates the collage-type exhibits in the shape of light walls and curtains displaying exotic animal and plant life in which various BURRI products are cleverly intermingled.
