In cooperation with BURRI, design engineer Stefan von Arx has designed a fold-up seat that, thanks to its slim profile, provides a space-saving seating option, in particular in confined transport stops.
Demographic change and increased mobility are placing ever higher demands on the process of public infrastructure upgrading.
The BURRI Teo seating system offers a flexible compromise between limited space in the public domain and the user requirements of all age groups as regards seating options in mobile everyday life. Thanks to individual adapter brackets, the seat can be mounted on existing infrastructures without the need for complex structural interventions, while the straightforward means of folding makes the seat an all-round comfortable experience for people of all ages. Throughout, high-quality materials guarantee a long life of use, even under high loads.
