World class design for the public domain

When we are asked what is at the heart of BURRI, we often use the term ‘metal construction boutique’. This sums up the original nucleus of our company, namely metal construction, but at the same time epitomizes the demands that we place on ourselves and our products in terms of design.

This is why we pursue ongoing collaborations with also world-famous designers, and are always excited when outstanding and highly functional Public Elements® emerge from our interexchange with these highly creative people.

In such cases, any prizes or awards are of course a pleasing side effect. However, far more important to us is our contribution to conveying the topics of design, form and beauty in the public domain. Because without good – i.e. beautiful – public spaces, there can be no vibrant cities.
