The radar sensor is tested to the latest ZHAGA DALI D4i standard and already has thousands of points of use in combination with ZHAGA D4i luminaires and control units. Thanks to the mechanical ZAGHA Book18 interface, it can be attached to a standard luminaire quickly and easily – not even tools are required. Thanks to its extremely compact design, it preserves the appearance of the luminaire and is therefore hardly noticeable.
Based on the radar Doppler principle, the sensor detects any movement with unrivalled accuracy, regardless of the ambient temperature. In addition, a special light-sensitive component is integrated, which enables the precise detection of daylight in the range of up to 1-1000 lux. The detected pulses are transmitted to the control units via a Dali 2 Multi Master interface. The integrated D4i extension not only ensures compatibility with the luminaires and control modules, but also enables operating and maintenance data to be transmitted.
The sensitivity of the sensor can be configured via the same Dali interface. Parameterisation can be carried out both on site and via the central Smart City control system, regardless of location.
The new BURRI Cleversens sensor enables traffic-dependent control of street lighting at the highest level. The lighting only needs to be switched on when it is needed. This saves a lot of valuable energy and extends the service life of the components - all in all a sustainable solution with an excellent price-performance ratio.
The new RADAR sensor opens up completely new networking possibilities in the smart city world and thus represents an important building block towards sustainable urban development.
