Art and play in the heart of the Norwegian capital

moveart at Nydalen Park in Oslo

With climbslide 9, BURRI public elements is realising the first international project from moveart.

BURRI public elements AG has installed a climbslide 9 sculpture in the heart of Oslo as part of a project carried out on behalf of the Lala Töyen firm of landscape architects. Production and assembly took place between November and December 2017, and exemplifies how innovative and value-adding projects can be realised within the shortest deadlines. On behalf of BURRI, the designer Norbert Roztocki specially adapted the sculpture, which the viewer’s eye can perceive as an object for art or play, to children's requirements. Accordingly, the height of the object is somewhat lower than the standard version.

Norbert Roztocki is the founder of moveart GmbH, with which BURRI has been cooperating since 2017. The design of all moveart sculptures is based on the form of the DNA double helix. Thanks to its numerous practical utilisation possibilities (seating, lounging, climbing, balancing, sliding, and much more) as well as the innovative design, climbslide 9 is now adding its own distinctive flavour to Oslo’s stylish Nydalen district.
