Winner of a public tender from EWZ

EWZ continues to count on the quality of BURRI

BURRI public elements is the winner of an international public tender from Zurich Municipal Electric Utility (Elektrizitätswerk der Stadt Zürich, EWZ), building on a business relationship that goes back 80 years.

EZW has previously turned to BURRI public elements for the provision of its dead-end towers, candelabras and outriggers. BURRI manufactured the first of these candelabras in 1937, and in the process laid the foundations for a longstanding partnership with EWZ.

Since as far back as the 1970s, BURRI has also supplied EWZ with dead-end towers for overvoltages, overhead lines, lighting for playing fields, traffic lights, elevation control and signposting. In the 1990s, these were joined by BURRI’s own-manufactured outriggers. Throughout, all products feature only the highest-quality and fully tested materials.
