BURRI Ergo lounger the test winner

In the autumn of 2017, the city of Lucerne invited interested parties to help them test potential future seating furniture. In the end, the Landi Ergo lounger emerged as the clear winner.

The tests of the urban seating saw a range of mobile seating options pitted against each other. The overriding criteria thereby were comfort, appearance and the effect on the surrounding public space.

Naturally, BURRI public elements also submitted a number of Public Elements® for the contest: Plico round bench, square Sol, the Stella chair and the Landi Ergo lounger.

Now, BURRI is pleased to have won first prize with its ergonomic Landi lounger. The concept behind the development of this object was the adaptation of the reclining surface to the form of human body for optimal comfort.
