Larch

Larch wood is the heaviest and hardest wood among the European coniferous woods and is only surpassed by the rarely used yew. Due to its natural ingredients, larch wood is quite weather-resistant and very durable under water. It is resistant to acids and alkalis and relatively resistant to fungal and insect infestation. UV light can cause a natural greying of the surface.
