Alongside the use of proven systems and components, BURRI is continuously researching novel materials and combinations of materials for new application possibilities.
Application philosophy
Drawing on over 100 years of experience with materials and their deployment in the public domain, we targetedly combine materials to meet high requirements with regard to end-use and in terms of design, safety and low life cycle costs.
Many parts are interchangeable, with a preference for screw and socket connections and careful attention throughout to surface finishing.
Cooperation and consultation
To meet constantly changing market conditions and to reflect new concepts from research and technology, we maintain a continuous interexchange with designers, architects and universities. BURRI also targetedly cooperates with partners and customers with an interest in the development and utilization of new materials, technologies and manufacturing possibilities. Thereby, we have a wide range of material samples on site for consultation and testing.
