The CAT “Connect And Transmit” brings dynamic passenger information to public spaces—quick to install, flexible to use, and ideal for rail replacement services.
The CAT is much more than a traditional information display. Equipped with two e-paper displays, the system shows current departure times and live delays in real time. This fulfills exactly the need that is particularly important in rail replacement services: fast, reliable information for travelers—without complex infrastructure.
The CAT features an integrated solar module. This provides the system with power completely independently. No power connection is required.
The result: maximum flexibility in placement, minimal impact on the surroundings, and sustainable operation.
In addition to traditional passenger information, IoT technology offers further potential: sensors can, for example, measure frequencies, collect environmental data such as temperatures, noise levels, and rainfall, or respond to defined thresholds.
With this combination of design, functionality, and technology, many other use cases in public spaces are conceivable.
