Large light-boxes for Zurich Airport

For the new check-in hall at Zurich Airport, BURRI developed a new system for large-scale light boxes. The simple, frameless presentation, double-sided illumination and low construction depth of only 170mm permit a variety of possible applications in every architectural context.

The Terminal 2 at Zurich Airport was originally opened in 1975.

Some 40 years later, the huge growth in the number of people using the airport as well as the increasing requirements of customers and passengers necessitated a total reconstruction of the airport. The terminals were subsequently completely renovated in two stages and outfitted with modern technologies of the highest quality.

Fully involved and prominently positioned.

Thereby, BURRI could make a significant contribution with numerous products and technical solutions.
