Sacred spaces in a new light

When existing lighting systems reach the end of their service life because replacement bulbs are no longer available, the question arises: How can the original design be preserved and revitalized at the same time?

Often, minimal intervention is the most effective approach—a careful transformation.

This task also arose in the Catholic Church in Bassersdorf when replacement bulbs could no longer be sourced for its pendant lights.

The lights were dismantled, cleaned, and refitted with warm 2700K LED light sources and remote control. A technical upgrade that deliberately takes a back seat in order to preserve the original.

The revised lighting system restores the harmonious lighting of the church in Bassersdorf and allows its meditative tranquility to continue for decades to come.
